Photo exhibition on CPM struggles opens

Bhimavaram: CPM State Committee Secretariat member V Umamaheswara Rao, inaugurated a photo exhibition on the people’s movement taken up by CPM here on Thursday.
The exhibition was conducted on the occasion of CPM State Conference to be held in Bhimavaram from February 10. Photos on the agitations taken up by the CPM on various occasions like Aqua Food Park agitation, Polavaram displaced people’s agitation, Garagaparru and other issues were displayed.
Speaking at the meeting, the CPM State leader said that the CPM would continue its fight against the ‘anti-people’ policies of the State and Central governments. He mentioned various agitations taken up by the CPM in West Godavari district. CPM State Committee member Mantena Sitaram, CPM Delta Committee Secretary B Balaram, District Secretariat member JNV Gopalan, D Kalyani, Exhibition Committee convener P Dakshina Murthy, organiser PL Narasimha Rao participated in the inaugural programme.
