Happy School at Auto Nagar inaugurated
Inner Wheel Club of Vijayawada has taken up an initiative to developed 10 government schools as ‘Happy Schools’ on the occasion of golden jubilee year. In this regard, they developed Regula Anuradha Municipal Corporation Elementary School in Auto Nagar as Happy School. The school was inaugurated here on Friday.
Vijayawada: Inner Wheel Club of Vijayawada has taken up an initiative to developed 10 government schools as ‘Happy Schools’ on the occasion of golden jubilee year. In this regard, they developed Regula Anuradha Municipal Corporation Elementary School in Auto Nagar as Happy School. The school was inaugurated here on Friday.
Speaking on occasion, Inner Wheel Club of Vijayawada president Reshmi Samaram said that they had taken up many activities to develop the school as Happy School. They supported the school building by painting the walls with pictures, repairs of toilets, constructed hand wash area, provided school bags and shoes to the students, library kit, established kitchen garden, for both the new and the old buildings flooring was done besides ground leveling, established water purifier, provided benches and tables for children and for staff room.
She said that about Rs 8 lakh was spent for the school. Association President and National Representative Inner Wheel Clubs In India and Association president Patricia Hilton praised the president and members of Inner Wheel Club of Vijayawada for their dedication and sincere work towards various activities and said that she had not seen any Happy School so good as Regula Anuradha Municipal Corporation Elementary School.
MLA Gadde Ram Mohan Rao said that he was surprised to see the school transformed into a beautiful school premises and appreciated the Inner Wheel Club members. Students, staff and others were present.
