QIS librarian receives award from IIT Madras
The IIT Madras conferred the Chief Librarian of QIS Engineering College in Ongole with the ‘Best Enrollment of Students’ award, announced the college management on Sunday.
Ongole: The IIT Madras conferred the Chief Librarian of QIS Engineering College in Ongole with the ‘Best Enrollment of Students’ award, announced the college management on Sunday.
The college’s secretary and correspondent, Nidamanuri Kalyan Chakravarthy, president Nidamanuri Nageswara Rao announced that their chief librarian Dr Nalluri Srinivas received the award for enrolling maximum number of students to the National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) chapter between July 2017 and December 2017.
Nageswara Rao said that the NPTEL local chapter was helping the students in upgrading their technical knowledge with the video lectures on various subjects by the professors from IIT Madras. He said that Dr Srinivas explained the students about the use of the membership in the chapter and motivated them to become members and appreciated the librarian for the achievement in a programme specially arranged in the college.
The college principal Dr Kilari Veeraswamy, HoDs of various departments and the teaching and non-teaching staff also appreciated Dr Srinivas for the award.
