Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam violinist Avasarala Kanya Kumari performed at the three-day national festival ‘GECFEST-18’ organised by Gudlavalleru Engineering College on the college campus here on Thursday.

Vijayawada: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam violinist Avasarala Kanya Kumari performed at the three-day national festival ‘GECFEST-18’ organised by Gudlavalleru Engineering College on the college campus here on Thursday. ‘GECFEST-18’ was organised to bringing out innate talent of students. Competitions were held in various categories and students from various colleges across the country competed enthusiastically.

In the evening Avasarala Kanya Kumari performed ‘Panch Ratnas’ on violin with deft and precision that mesmerised the audience with euphonic beats. She inspired the souls of young engineering students by playing patriotic songs Vandemaataram and Raghupathi Raghava Raja Ram.

Later, international magician and illusionist Samala Venu, entertained the students with his inspiring and breath taking magic. College chairman Dr Nageswara Vallurupalli, vice-president K V Krishna Rao, secretary Vallurupalli Satyanarayana, co-secretary Rama Krishna Vallurupalli, students and others were present.
