Eluru: Triparna Ramkumar of Kothapeta in Eluru city has been selected for Grade-3 Municipal Commissioner post after getting highest marks in the qualifying examinations.
The B Tech (Information Technology) graduate, Ramkumar, has applied to many posts including Village Revenue Officer (VRO) as his father was a retired VRO of Komadavole. He studied for the Group-2 after the 2016 notification. He was selected for preliminary exams and attended the mains conducted on July 15 and 16 last year. Out of 450 marks, he got 343.03 marks and selected for Municipal Commissioner post.
Out of 12 Commissioner posts allotted to OC quota, he was selected as the fourth candidate. Ramkumar said that his goal was to get selected for the Revenue Divisional Officer after getting selected in Group-1. He said after getting eligible for RDO post, his aim would be for the IAS, he said.
He said he took coaching from a coaching centre for the IAS. He said that with the encouragement from his father Venkataramana and mother Satyavati, he was selected to the Municipal Commissioner post. He said after issuance of the notification, he had planned studies and at last selected to the Commissioner’s post.
