Vijayawada: Regional Inspection Officer (RIO) Siva Satyanarayana Reddy said the Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) first year Paper-II examination was held peacefully without any incident at all the 159 centres across Krishna district on Monday. He said about 58,105 candidates appeared for IPE first year Paper-II examination out of total 59, 214 candidates who had applied for the examination. As many as 1,109 candidates were absent.

He informed that the examinations for the first year vocational course started Monday. As many as 793 candidates were present out of total 831 applied. The examination started by 9 am at all the examination centres and no cases of malpractice or any incidents were reported from any of the 159 centres. On March 6, second year paper-II would be held, he added.
