Speed up UGD works, officials told
District Collector and GMC Special Officer Kona Sasidhar directed officials to speed up underground drainage (UGD) works. He conducted a meeting with the officials in Guntur on Saturday night.
Guntur: District Collector and GMC Special Officer Kona Sasidhar directed officials to speed up underground drainage (UGD) works. He conducted a meeting with the officials in Guntur on Saturday night.
Speaking on this occasion, he instructed the officials to complete the works by March 20. He would review progress of the UGD works once in a week. He said that dust settling on vehicles and residential area in the vicinity of UGD works was causing inconvenience to the people.
He instructed the infrastructure company to set up notice board with details of started work and scheduled completion of the work. He also reviewed Lalpuram road-widening works. He asked the details of Lalpuram Road and shifting of electrical poles. He instructed the officials to shift the electric poles within 20 days.
