QIS engineering college students donate blood

In all, 104 units of blood were donated by QIS Engineering College at Vengamukkalapalem, near here, at the mega blood donation camp held on Wednesday.
Ongole: In all, 104 units of blood were donated by QIS Engineering College at Vengamukkalapalem, near here, at the mega blood donation camp held on Wednesday.
According to the college secretary and correspondent Nidamanuri Surya Kalyan Chakravarty and Nidamanuri Educational Society president Nidamanuri Nageswara Rao, the mega camp was conducted as part of encouraging the students to take part in service oriented programmes apart from academics.
Later, certificates were given to students who had donated blood. College principal Dr Kilari Veeraswamy, RIMS medical officer Sunita, Lions Club Ongole president A Vishnuvardhan, QIS college NSS director Dr A Vasubabu and others took part in the camp.
