ACB notices irregularities in BC Boys Hostel
The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths’ sudden check in the BC Boys Hostel at Mulagapudi village in Rowthulapudi mandal, revealed many irregularities. ACB DSP Sudhakar and his team suddenly inspected the Mulagapudi hostel and found irregularities in the maintenance of attendance apart from records related to ration and other things.
Kakinada: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths’ sudden check in the BC Boys Hostel at Mulagapudi village in Rowthulapudi mandal, revealed many irregularities. ACB DSP Sudhakar and his team suddenly inspected the Mulagapudi hostel and found irregularities in the maintenance of attendance apart from records related to ration and other things.
Speaking to the media after the initial inspection, the DSP said that they received reliable information on the irregularities in the hostel. They found that only 32 students were present out of 142 students in the hostel. He also said that the hostel welfare officer has been intentionally fabricating the attendance and showing 100 percent attendance.
He said that they would inform the irregularities in a detailed and comprehensive report to their ACB DG Thakur on this hostel and further action would be initiated according to the government’s decision. ACB CI Pullarao and SI Naresh participated in the raids.
