Kakinada: The Tallarevu mandal Telugu Desam leaders and activists passed a resolution against the district forest officials at the mandal TDP meeting at Tallarevu on Wednesday. The Tallarevu mandal TDP president, Dunna Satyanarayana presided over the meeting. The TDP leaders discussed the welfare schemes that were in progress in the state by their party and on the budget allocations to various welfare schemes.

Later, the TDP leader and Vigilance Committee member Dhulipudi Venkata Ramana (Bobby) informed that as per their party’s instructions they were conducting the mandal-level meetings on 14th of every month. Bobby raised the issue of negligence of the forest officials and criticised that they ignored the people’s representatives during their launching ceremony of the Coringa Mangrove Forest Mascot (Macha, the Fishing Cat) event last Saturday.

Bobby said that the launching of Mascot was such a huge event and the forest department officials just concluded the event without any intimation or invitation to the local MLA Datla Subba Raju and other leaders fall under the purview of protocol.

The Tallarevu mandal TDP passed the resolution urging the government to take action against the forest officials who ignored to invite the MLA and other important officials. Tallarevu Sarpanch Vasamsetti Srinivas, AMC member MG Suryanarayana, MPTC members Varada Raju, Apparao and others participated.v
