55,188 attend for SSC exam on first day
District Educational Officer MV Rajya Lakshmi said that as many as 55,188 candidates turned up for taking Class X public examination out of total 55,359 who applied for first language paper I in Krishna district on Thursday.
Vijayawada: District Educational Officer MV Rajya Lakshmi said that as many as 55,188 candidates turned up for taking Class X public examination out of total 55,359 who applied for first language paper I in Krishna district on Thursday.
She informed that 171 students were absent. She visited two examination centres. While the DLO visited five examination centres, flying squad visited 70 examination centres. “There is no report of malpractice from any centre in the district. Examinations are held at all 268 centres under the supervision of 2,950 invigilators.
Most of the centres are near to the police stations and treasury offices. All the answer papers will be kept under the custody of 62 police stations. A total of 62 custodians have been deployed at examination centres which are far away from the police stations and treasury officers. In each flying squad team, there will be one officer from the Educational Department, one from Revenue Department, a Sub-Inspector and one Armed Reserve Police,” she added.
