Keeping in view Ugadi and auspicious days for marriages and other functions, a three-day fashion and lifestyle exhibition ‘Vasundhara’ was started at A - Convention Center here on Friday.
Vijayawada: Keeping in view Ugadi and auspicious days for marriages and other functions, a three-day fashion and lifestyle exhibition ‘Vasundhara’ was started at A - Convention Center here on Friday.
Expo organiser Jayasudha Koneru, spoke to the media persons after the expo was inaugurated. She said the exhibition was organised for the second time with the overwhelming response from the people of the city. She said the expo was aimed at providing a variety of clothing range, designer jewellery and lifestyle accessories for the people of Amaravati capital region. Jayasudha informed that the special attraction of the exhibition was German Silver items, wedding designer ware and Ugadi festival collections. The expo would be open till 9 pm on March 18.
Designers from various parts of the country such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Jaipur and Manipur evoked good response from the public. The expo offers a wide range of collections-- lenin sarees, designer sarees, blouses, kurtis and dazzling jewellery, sensational trousseau, lifestyle upholstery, accessories and a lot more. People can visit the expo from 10 am to 9 pm to purchase the variety of collections displayed, she added.
