Satish takes oath as MAVA president
Newly-elected president of Mandal Arya Vysya Association (MAVA) Boda Veera Venkata Satyanarayana (Satish), has said that he would strive hard to unite all the Arya Vysya community in Pithapuram mandal.
Kakinada: Newly-elected president of Mandal Arya Vysya Association (MAVA) Boda Veera Venkata Satyanarayana (Satish), has said that he would strive hard to unite all the Arya Vysya community in Pithapuram mandal.
He took oath as the new president of the MAVA on the auspicious day of Ugadi festival on the Vasavi Kanyakaparameswari Temple premises here on Sunday. Speaking on this occasion, Satish said that he would follow the footsteps of the elders who paved the way for the younger generations in achieving the goals of the association.
He further said that he would try for the development of the association. He also explained the need for the Vysya community in the society and how they were contributing to the nation by adapting and handling different trade and commerce practices in the country.
VV Nagesh, Chekka Nagabhushanam and Shobhan swore as the vice-presidents of the association. Later, MEK (Meelo Yevaru Koteeswarudu) fame Peri Uma Kanth spoke on Mana Mahaneeyulu. Prior to this, the association members conducted Panchanga Pathanam.
