The HELP NGO from Ongole, Child Rights Advocacy Foundation and PRO Child Group-AP are jointly organising a state-level workshop on ‘Effective Implementation of POCSO Act 2012’ at Vijayawada on March 24, announced the secretary of the HELP NGO, NVS Ram Mohan.

He said that Arlene Manoharan, head- Juvenile Justice, Centre for the Child and the Law, National Law School of India University, Bengaluru and her team will be attending as the resource persons for the workshop.
He said that the director of Juvenile Welfare, Correctional Services & Welfare of Street Children, Andhra Pradesh has directed the all chairpersons of the child welfare committees and protection officers of District Child Protection Units and their staff in all districts of the state also to attend the workshop.
Ram Mohan said that the workshop will be held at the Hotel Swarna Palace in Vijayawada. He said that the interested people can contact M Anand at 9491511649 for more details.
