‘The Hans India’ published a report on the plight of Chanti Babu who fell down from an electric pole in 2014. The report with headline ‘Paralysed man seeks euthanasia nod’ appeared in these columns in October 2017. The report described the bed-ridden pathetic condition of Chanti Babu since 2014.

After knowing the plight of Chanti Babu who has no support either from family or from any charitable organisation, Bobby visited Simhadripuram village on Monday and extended financial assistance of Rs 5,000. Bobby assured the patient that he would provide financial assistance after consulting some known members of APTA (American Progressive Telugu Association) in the USA.

He also promised Chanti Babu that he would try to sanction the housing loan from the housing department after consulting the concerned officials. Bobby informed ‘The Hans India’ that he was moved by the plight of Chanti Babu by reading the report. Since then, he was trying to help Chanti Babu.

Now, he managed to meet Chanti Babu and extend help, thanks to ‘The Hans India’ for bringing the issue to light, Bobby explained.Pabbineedi Ajay Kumar accompanied Bobby who visited the Simhadripuram village.
