Kakinada: The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is always working for a better society and striving to maintain the law and order in the agency areas, by providing necessary support to the police department, said the CRPF 39th Battalion Commandant VVN Prasanna Kumar.

He distributed 86 bicycles to the tribal girl students under the CRPF's ‘Civic Action Programme’ at Yetapaka on Tuesday. He informed that the CRPF had contributed for construction toilets in schools in agency villages of Gowridevipeta, Gollagudem and Vidyanagaram.

Speaking on this occasion, chief guest and Yetapaka police OSD KK Anbu Rajan said that they were extending every possible help for the welfare of the tribals. The motive of providing these bicycles to tribal girls was to enable them to go to school on bicycles without depending on other modes of transport.

These bicycles would be of a great help for them to reach the school in time and continue their education without break.CRPF officials AK Singh, Patti Chaitanya, SDPO Chinturu Dileep Kiran and others participated.
