TDP cadre celebrates foundation day
The Prakasam district unit of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) celebrated the 37th foundation day in the party headquarters NTR Bhavan in Ongole on Thursday. National treasurer of the party Siddha Raghavarao and district president Damacharla Janardhana Rao hoisted the party flag and paid tributes to founder president N T Rama Rao and Damacharla Anjaneyulu in the party office before cutting the cake.

Speaking to the cadre, Siddha Raghavarao said that since the inception of the party, its leadership worked for the welfare of the poor and downtrodden in the state. Believing in the slogan ‘Prajale Devullu Samajame Devalayam’ and coming into power in just nine- month, N T Rama Rao changed the political picture of the state, he said.
He announced that the construction of Amaravathi was a symbol for the development of the state and assured that every right of the people in the state would be achieved under the leadership of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Damacharla Janardhana Rao thanked the cadre for their support all the way and asked them to continue the hard work for the next year to bring TDP into power again. District general secretary Kommu Ravichandra, Errakula Srinivasa Rao, Kotari Nageswara Rao, Aluri Prabhakar and others also participated in the celebrations.
