Measures afoot to develop corporation schools: RMC chief
RMC Commissioner V Vijaya Rama Raju said that steps have been taken to develop all corporation schools on par with corporate schools and many corporation schools are marching ahead in this regard. Priority was given to Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar in all the schools, he said.

He presented a memento to Jampeta Municipal Corporation School headmistress Naga Ratnam in his chamber here on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, he said with the coordinated efforts of the school staff, the school bagged Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar at state-level along with a cash prize of Rs 10,000.
The teachers should keep the school ambience in good atmosphere along with impressive arts and paintings to impress the students as well as parents also. He asked the school staff to conduct good programmes for the benefit of the students.
He congratulated the school staff for their efforts in scoring 98 per cent points in the competition and advised them to initiate steps to increase the admissions during this year.
