NSS volunteers sensitise villagers on sun stroke

NSS volunteers of Godavari Institute of Engineering and Technology (GIET) distributed pamphlets in Darijellipeta village with the precautions supposed to be taken during this summer season to avoid sun stroke. NSS volunteers working in the surrounding villages of the college have been bringing awareness on summer problems to the people for six days.
Rajamahendravaram: NSS volunteers of Godavari Institute of Engineering and Technology (GIET) distributed pamphlets in Darijellipeta village with the precautions supposed to be taken during this summer season to avoid sun stroke. NSS volunteers working in the surrounding villages of the college have been bringing awareness on summer problems to the people for six days.
GIET principal Dr VSN Raju said that as part of social service, the NSS volunteers have been working in the villages. All the NSS volunteers of the unit would work for a few more days in the villages. The social work was part and parcel of their course and to inculcate the habit of serving society.
