SRKR students selected by foreign varsity
The students of Electric and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at SRKR Engineering College in Bhimavaram were selected to University of Applied Sciences, Upper Austria School of Engineering to complete their engineering studies, according to the college principal G Pardhasaradhi Varma.
Bhimavaram: The students of Electric and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at SRKR Engineering College in Bhimavaram were selected to University of Applied Sciences, Upper Austria School of Engineering to complete their engineering studies, according to the college principal G Pardhasaradhi Varma.
He said that for the first time in India, the SRKR Engineering College and Austria University of Applied Sciences, Upper Austria entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) and the university had selected the students of EEE to complete the remaining three-year-course in that university.
The Austria University Electrical Engineering Head of Studies Dr Peter Ziller conducted the selection in the college. Six first year students who completed first year (EEE) got the opportunity in the selection.
Dr Peter Ziller said as part of the MoU, the Austria University selected the students here. Moreover, he stated that the college had expert lecturers with international educational standards. The students who completed studies in Austria School of Engineering have got good opportunities worldwide, he added.
The college secretary and correspondent Sagi Vithal Rangaraju, EEE Head of the Department M Kanta Rao also participated in the programme.
