Free foundation courses inaugurated
Mayor Koneru Sridhar inaugurated the advanced foundation courses for Class X students at CVR High School, Suryaraopet here on Monday.
Vijayawada: Mayor Koneru Sridhar inaugurated the advanced foundation courses for Class X students at CVR High School, Suryaraopet here on Monday.
He said that for achieving good results in Polytechnic and APRJC entrance examination, this foundation course would help the students. He said as per the orders of the VMC Commissioner, free residential class for advanced foundation courses was organised with all infrastructural facilities at BSRK High School, APSRM High School and CVR High School.
The course would be held for 45 days with all facilities to the students. He wished all the students studying in municipal schools would get good result. In spite of VMC’s financial crunch, it was giving more priority to education, he added. Deputy Mayur G Ramana, corporator N Balaswamy, deputy educational officer Durga Prasad, coordinators, teachers and others were present.
