A free summer training camp for women and girls commenced at Durga Malleswara Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala (SMK) here on Monday.
Vijayawada: A free summer training camp for women and girls commenced at Durga Malleswara Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala (SMK) here on Monday.
The 40 days free training camp for home maker women and unemployed girls was organised by Entrepreneurship Development Cell of SMK which was inaugurated by the college principal Dr T Vijayalakshmi.
She said all the women should have skill to support them and their family in crisis. She said coaching would be given in tailoring, maggam work, sari rolling, sari painting, Mehendi designing, beautician course, paper bags and hand bags making and two-wheeler driving. The training would be given by experienced trainers, she said and urged all the women and girls to make use of this opportunity.
