22 women hurt as tractor overturns
Over 22 women sustained injuries when a tractor on which they were travelling lost balance and landed on its side while negotiating a curve at Vannepudi near Gollaprolu in the wee hours of Monday.There were 40 women when the tractor met with an accident.
Pithapuram: Over 22 women sustained injuries when a tractor on which they were travelling lost balance and landed on its side while negotiating a curve at Vannepudi near Gollaprolu in the wee hours of Monday.There were 40 women when the tractor met with an accident.
The women were returning home after attending a marriage feast at Yarnala.There was utter confusion in the darkness when the accident had taken place.The locals came to their rescue and immediately rushed the injured to government hospital at Pattipadu and from there to government hospital at Kakinada.
The police attribute the accident to careless driving.YSRCP coordinator of Pithapuram Pendem Dorababu visited the injured in the hospital and urged the medical officers to extend better medicare.
He expressed concern over lack of proper bus facility in the constituency.He wanted the government to come to the rescue of the villagers.
