No need to submit same application again, petitioners told

Eluru: District In-charge Collector Pulipati Koteswara Rao has said that the officials will take necessary steps to do justice to the petitioners who submitted the petitions in Mee Kosam programme.He conducted Mee Kosam, the grievances redressal programme, at the Collectorate here on Monday.
While receiving the petitions from the public, the In-charge Collector said that the officials should conduct enquiry on the petitions received during the programme and suggested the petitioners not to submit same petitions every week. “The officials take steps on the petitions received from the public.
There is no need to the people who already submitted their grievances, to visit the Collectorate by spending lot of money and time. They will get justice after the thorough verification and enquiry of the petitions,” he elaborated. He received the petitions from the public and directed concerned officials to dispose of those immediately.
Motamatla Nageswara Rao of Kommara village in Ganapavaram mandal submitted a memorandum stating that a farmer in the village got permission for fish tanks and in spite of the fish tank, he was now cultivating prawn in salt water. Due to this, the surrounding fertile lands were being damaged creating loses to the farmers.
Joint Collector-2 MH Sheriff, RWS SE Amareswara Rao, R and B SE Nirmala, DRDA project director K Srinivasulu, ZP CEO D Satyanarayana and other officials participated in the programme.
