MRPS Youth State in-charge Sirra Balaji, presided over the meeting.Speaking at the meeting, the Minister suggested the SCs to protect their rights and solve the problems without taking up agitations. “Except in an emergency, no one should take up agitations. SCs should protect their rights and solve the problems among themselves. You should develop academically to overcome the caste-related problems.

The SC/ST Sub-plan had got legality during my tenure. With this Sub-plan, the Dalit colonies are developing in the state. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has implemented the Sub-plan sincerely to develop the Dalit and tribal colonies in the state,” he added.

He remembered the services of Babu Jagjivan Ram and said that the former Deputy Prime Minister had strived hard for the upliftment of the SC/STs and weaker sections in society.

Earlier, the MRPS youth wing organised a massive rally in the village to reach the venue.
AMC chairmen Uppalapati Suresh Babu, Sanaboina Gopalakrishna, mandal president Meka Padmakumari, ZPTC member Bandi Rama Rao, Sarpanches Beera Tirupatamma, Kanapala Swarna Kumari, MRPS leaders Tottaramudi Srinivasa Rao, Kanapala Peddiraju, Nomadic Tribe Association state president Vendra Veereanna, Dalita Maha Sabha state president Chintapalli Guruprasad and others participated in the programme.
