miniature artiste Koushik honoured

Vijayawada: MLA Bode Prasad said that parents should encourage children to bring out innate talent and help them achieve great goals.
He was chief guest at the felicitation of Master Koushik who had received ‘Miracles World Record for Miniature Art’. The programme was organised by Siva Arts Academy and the Cultural Centre of Vijayawada and Amaravati (CCVA) at CCVA premises on Sunday. MLA honoured Kaushik with memento and a shawl.
CCVA CEO Dr E Sivanagi Reddy said instead of forcing the children to get good marks and grade, the parents should encourage them on creativity and get the identity like Mater Koushik, he added.
TDP state secretary G Ramakrishna Prasad and Andhra Art Academy secretary G Narayana Rao appreciated Master Koushik. They said that the miniature art works of Master Koushik should be kept on display at national exhibition. Siva Art Academy secretary P Siva, Meenakshi Craft and Arts Welfare Society chairperson K Meenakshi and others were present.
