Removed ONGC contract workers get MP support
District Vigilance and Monitoring Committee member Dhulipudi Venkata Ramana (Bobby) on Friday informed the removed contract workers of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation that the Amalapuram Lok Sabha Member, Pandula Ravindra Babu had expressed his solidarity to the workers and promised to solve their problem.
Kakinada: District Vigilance and Monitoring Committee member Dhulipudi Venkata Ramana (Bobby) on Friday informed the removed contract workers of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation that the Amalapuram Lok Sabha Member, Pandula Ravindra Babu had expressed his solidarity to the workers and promised to solve their problem.
Bobby said that he met Ravindra Babu at his camp office in Kakinada to discuss the issue of the expelled employees who were working at Tallarevu for the ONGC.
He further informed that the ONGC officials had made promises that they would never remove these employees when they first started operations at Tallarevu mandal.
Later, Bobby honoured the MP with a shawl for continuing their protest against the BJP-led government for the Special Category Status to AP.Ventapalli Sai Babu, Appanna Babu among others who met the MP.
