Guntur: Urban Superintendent of Police Ch Vijaya Rao inaugurated a water kiosk at Police Kalyana Mandapam in Guntur city on Friday.
Speaking on this occasion, he said that water kiosk was useful to the public during summer. Setting up water kiosks was one kind of opportunity to do service to the people. He urged the people to drink water from the kiosk arranged by them.
Drinking water consumption would increase during summer and people moving in the surrounding areas would halt to quench thirst at the kiosk. He appreciated DSP KGV Saritha for taking steps to set up water kiosk.
