MP, MLA lay stone for culvert
MP Maganti Murali Mohan and Rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary laid foundation stone for the construction of a culvert and a drain at Balajipeta here on Sunday.
Rajamahendravaram: MP Maganti Murali Mohan and Rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary laid foundation stone for the construction of a culvert and a drain at Balajipeta here on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Choudary said that the existing road between Rajamahendravaram to Kesavaram via Bommur would be widened up to 80 feet, as part of development of roads in this area.
Widening of the present road would help in easing traffic movement in that area. At present, people had been facing many problems to move on the road. An amount of Rs 68 lakh was sanctioned for the construction of culvert and drain, he added.
Many development works were executed in rural mandal during the past four years. Priority was being given to drinking water supply, roads, drains and lighting.
