Padayatra to create awareness on child marriages
The Good Help NGO at Kanigiri, Girls Advocacy Alliance and HELP NGO at Ongole have scheduled a Prajachaitanya Padayatra in Prakasam district to create awareness on child marriages and child rights. In the first phase, the awareness tour would start at Kanigiri and covers all villages up to Venigandla from April 23.

Good Help NGO volunteer K Ramesh met the In-charge Joint Collector Dr N Prabhakar Reddy, Additional SP ABTS Udayarani to explain the route map of the Padayatra and requested them to extend the support of police, revenue, ICDS and Velugu staff also in it to answer various questions by the public on behalf of the authorities. Prabhakar Reddy and Udayarani agreed to extend support and appreciated their effort.
