Top performers awarded at ACA annual day meet
Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) organised annual day function here on Sunday. On this occasion, top performers in the field of cricket were presented awards.The chief guest of the programme was Dr Gokaraju Gangaraju, MP and former BCCI vice-president while guest of honour was MSK Prasad, chairman, Senior Selection Committee, BCCI.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Gokaraju Gangaraju thanked all the players and support staff who had brought laurels for ACA with their commitment and performance.
MSK Prasad, in his inaugural oration speech of Col CK Nayudu, recalled his association with Col CK Nayudu and ACA. He said players were playing for different franchises in IPL. He recollected that Col CK Nayudu had played till he was 62 years. He was honoured with Padmavibhushan award. He led Ranji team at the age of 58, he added.
All the performers of ACA were given awards and a cash prize of Rs 10,000 each.Gokaraju Gangaraju Rolling Shield for the Senior Cricketer of the year 2017-18 was presented to Andhra Ranji Skipper G Hanuman Vihari, MSK Prasad rolling shield for the junior cricketer of the year 2017-18 was presented to K Nitesh Kumar Reddy and Jagarlamudi Narendranath rolling shield for women cricketer of the year 2017-18 was given to Ch Jhansi Lakshmi.
