Call to make Bijili bandh a success

Addressing a press meet here on Wednesday, CPM city secretary K Nalini Kanth alleged that TDP and BJP state unit had failed to mount pressure on the Centre for SCS. He accused TDP of criticizing the opposition for conducting bandh and felt that it was not correct. He said that instead of mounting pressure on the Centre for SCS, the TDP was maintaining silence.
He said that they were trying to involve people in the SCS agitations. He urged the people support the proposed bandh.
CPI district secretary Jangala Ajay Kumari criticised that Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured SCS in presence of Lord Sri Venkateswara in Tirumala, but failed to keep up his election promise and cheated the people of AP. He alleged that Chandrababu Naidu was also cheating the people of AP.
YSRCP Guntur city president Lella Appi Reddy said that both the BJP and TDP had cheated the people of AP and failed to give SCS.
The Congress district leader, Savaram Rohit urged the people to involve in Bijili bandh.
Jana Sena leader Bethamcherla Srinivasa Rao said that they would intensify their agitation for SCS.
