Vijayawada: The 8th Andhra Naval Unit NCC Commander (IN) Commanding Officer KP Shaik briefed the importance of joining as NCC cadet.

He was the chief guest of the NCC A-certificate distribution programme organised at APSRM Corporation High School, Krishnalanka here on Wednesday. He gave NCC- A certificate to about 39 students of the school.

Addressing the school staff and the students, Shaik said after schooling and completing college, students can join the Defence with this certificate and serve the nation which is a great service.

APSRMCH School headmaster Ravindranath encouraged the students to join the NCC and said that getting A certificate while schooling and B certificate in college would enable them to have better opportunity to get a job in future. Associate NCC Officer K Vinod Babu, school staff, students and others were present.
