Guntur: Rural SP Ch Venkata Appala Naidu distributed scholarships worth Rs 10.73 lakh to 182 children of police who got merit marks in the engineering, MBBS, MBA, BDA, B Pharmacy, SSC and Intermediate at a programme held in the police Kalyanamandapam in Guntur on Wednesday.
Speaking on this occasion, the SP stressed on moral values and urged the students to follow the suggestions given by the parents. He called upon the students to give respect to parents and society. He emphasised on good character and behavior in the life. He urged the students to bring name and fame to their parents and society.
Additional SP Varada Raju, OSD Nagaraju, DSP Azeez, Police Association president Chandu Purnachandra Rao were among those present.
