Road Safety Week launched
APSRTC Prakasam Regional Manager K Adam Saheb and RTO T Subbarao, inaugurated the 29th road safety week (from April 23 to 30) on Monday.
Ongole: APSRTC Prakasam Regional Manager K Adam Saheb and RTO T Subbarao, inaugurated the 29th road safety week (from April 23 to 30) on Monday.
Adam Saheb said that the corporation was conducting training day on Tuesday, maintenance day on Wednesday, medical tests day on Thursday, family counseling day on Friday, blood camp day on Saturday, accidents awareness day on Sunday and felicitation of drivers on Monday. He announced that three drivers who didn’t commit a single accident will be felicitated with Rs 1000, Rs 750 and Rs 500 in cash.
The RM and RTO said the staff should give utmost priority to the safety of the passengers and see that their vehicles were always fit for travel. They also requested the drivers and conductors to see that no stress mounts on them due to family and work pressures.
