Complex heart surgeries on children performed
As many as 15 children underwent complex heart surgeries successfully at Andhra Hospitals in association with Healing Little Hearts since April 23, according to Dr P V Rama Rao, chief of Children\'s Services, Andhra Hospital.

He informed that the success rate of the complex paediatric cardiac surgeries was nearly 100 percent. “We have been successfully performing children heart surgeries regularly and performed 300 children heart surgeries so far.
Healing Little Hearts, UK team has come to Andhra Hospital 14 times so far and many complex heart surgeries were done with their association. Actor Mahesh Babu also extended his helping hand for the noble cause,” he explained.
He said a team world famous doctors including Dr Oppido Guido from UK, Dr Vikram, Paediatric Cardiologist from Andhra Hospitals, Dr Oppido Guido, Dr Serrao Andrea, Garvey Lyndsay Marie, Maguire Katy Loside, Bichard Ellzabeth Jean, Mary Cathleen Gayle Castillo, DI Stefana, Scarpati Carmela, Giovanni Rosarir, Gopisetti Sharmil and Dr Dilip, Andhra Hospitals cardiac surgeon, Dr Sreemannarayana Cardiologist, Dr Ramesh Cardliac anesthetist extended help, he added.
