Guntur: Road Transport department officials on Sunday pasted stickers relating to traffic rules, including wearing of helmet for two-wheelers and tightening of seat belts while travelling in the car.

They pasted the stickers to create awareness about traffic rules and urged the vehicle owners to follow traffic rules to reduce accidental deaths. They conducted the campaign about traffic rules on the occasion of 29th Road Safety Week celebrations.

The officials said that jumping of signals, high speed and rash driving were leading to the road accidents. To reduce road accidents, they were conducting the campaign. They said that they were conducting the vehicle checks and drunken driving tests to reduce accidents.Motor Vehicle Inspector Siva NageswaraRao, AMVI Gore Saheb were among those participated.
