Effective public speaking useful for engg students

Ongole: Local Municipal Commissioner S Venkatakrishna said here on Sunday that effective public speaking would be useful for students intending to join engineering courses.

Speaking at an awareness programme on ‘Effective public speaking’ conducted by Gabriel Computers for students who are to join first year engineering courses as part of the career guidance programme, he praised Dr Shaik Nyamatulla Basha, chairman of the firm, for creating awareness among students on the importance of boldly speaking in public.

Venkatakrishna launched the engineering foundation course for the first year computer engineering course. He said that the course would make the students aware of computer training, personality development, communication skills, effective public speaking and career guidance. He praised Brilliant management for conducting many free programmes for the benefit of students.

Corporate trainer T Ravi Kumar said the computer field has advanced rapidly. Students opting for computer engineering course could secure jobs if they gained mastery in C language and some other course.

Dr Basha stated that the firm would conduct such programmes every Sunday. He said it would offer specially designed engineering foundation course for those seeking admission in first year engineering study.

Among those present were Brilliant Executive Chairperson Tahera, the firm’s teaching and non-teaching staff, students intending to join engineering courses.
