CPM seeks justice for Dachepalli rape victim
CPM leaders staged a dharna at Pypula road here on Friday, demanding that the police arrest rapist of Dachepalli minor girl.The party west Krishna district member, B Ramana Rao wanted the accused should be punished in the rape case of the minor girl. He asked the government to pay ex-gratia to the victim. He alleged that the police had failed to arrest the accused till date.Â
Vijayawada: CPM leaders staged a dharna at Pypula road here on Friday, demanding that the police arrest rapist of Dachepalli minor girl.The party west Krishna district member, B Ramana Rao wanted the accused should be punished in the rape case of the minor girl. He asked the government to pay ex-gratia to the victim. He alleged that the police had failed to arrest the accused till date.
He said about 20 incidents occurred in Guntur district in the recent past. He further demanded that the police implement powerful acts to punish the accused in rape cases. He insisted the case be taken up by fast track courts and punish the culprit which should be a lesson to all such people.
Another member K Durga Rao wanted the government to take severe action against the accused. He said if the government had not initiated serious action, people would come on to the roads and would fight for justice for the victim.
