Collector gives directions to officials on tomorrow’s girl child protection rally
District Collector V Vinay Chand on Sunday directed officials to take measures to preventive atrocities on children under the programme titled “Aada Biddalaku Rakshanga Niluddam.”
Ongole: District Collector V Vinay Chand on Sunday directed officials to take measures to preventive atrocities on children under the programme titled “Aada Biddalaku Rakshanga Niluddam.”
He asked the officials to conduct awareness programmes at all levels in the district on a large scale. He asked them to take out a rally to sensitise the people on this aspect. He asked the officials to undertake a rally from Prakasam Bhavan here to the RIMS hospital at 8:30 am on Monday.
The rally should culminate in a public meeting at RIMS hospital grounds. He told the officials to keep ready drinking water and ORS packets for the benefit of people taking part in the rally. He asked them to conduct a medical camp at the venue and ensure that there are no hiccups to the public meeting.
He told the officials to keep ready, placards, banners and mike sets for the meeting. He advised the officials to give wide publicity that those who perpetrate atrocities on children would be dealt with a heavy hand.
Local elected people’s representatives, voluntary organisations, self-help groups, Anganwadi workers, students, mass organisations, employees’ association and leaders of various associations should be involved in the rally, he directed the officials.
