MLA inaugurates basket ball summer camp
Local legislator NVSN Varma, on Sunday, called upon sportspersons to strive to keep up with the prominent position of the state in the realm of sports.He was speaking after inaugurating the basket ball summer camp at the Rajiv Gandhi municipal stadium here.Â

He appreciated local talent getting selected as the national referee in volley ball. He said that an indoor stadium is being built in the town. Also he said that he would strive to develop a synthetic basket ball court at the Rajiv Gandhi Municipal High School.
Municipal vice-chairman Pilli Chinna, district basket ball association secretary Malireddy Upendra, vice-president Gubbala Raju, Mummidi Babi, B Krishnarjuna, D Gandhi, Balem Satish, M Sivadurga Prasad, Reddem Bhaskar Rao and others took part in the summer camp inauguration.
