The government decided to implement online admission system in all government, private and aided colleges in the district for the academic year 2018-2019. Commissioner of Collegiate Education Sujatha Sarma issued orders in this regard to all the colleges. 

Rajamahendravaram: The government decided to implement online admission system in all government, private and aided colleges in the district for the academic year 2018-2019. Commissioner of Collegiate Education Sujatha Sarma issued orders in this regard to all the colleges.

Collegiate Education created a portal in the name of Andhra Pradesh Student Academic Management System (APSAMS) for online admissions.

The students should apply through Mee Seva centres by paying an amount of Rs 50.
The students can opt five colleges with their interested courses and the students after getting admission should pay an amount of Rs 100 in two installments as service charges.

Online admission system came into force from May 5 and the last date for submission of online applications is May 25. The first list of selected candidates will be announced on May 29 and they should pay the fee before May 31 in the colleges. The second list will be announced on June 3 and the candidates advised to pay college fee before June 5 in the respective colleges.

From May 10, spot admissions will be commenced and the government also starts a portal for students in the first week of June and they are supposed to submit their applications before June second week for admission into colleges.
