PhD awarded to St Ann’s College faculty member
St Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology Secretary V Ramakrishna Rao and correspondent Lakshmana Rao have said that the college faculty member SVD Anil Kumar has been awarded the degree of doctor of philosophy.
Nayunipalli: St Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology Secretary V Ramakrishna Rao and correspondent Lakshmana Rao have said that the college faculty member SVD Anil Kumar has been awarded the degree of doctor of philosophy.
In a release, college principal Dr P Ravi Kumar said that Anil Kumar, lecturer in EEE department, has been awarded Ph D for his thesis titled: “Evaluation of harmonic pollution in radial distribution systems using total harmonic power method and mitigation using APF with load shifting.” The JNTU-Hyderabad awarded the research degree.
The research helps identification of problems in non-linear loads easily and their rectification. The research also helps modernization of the power distribution system and supply of uninterrupted power to people.
The college management, faculty members and students congratulated Anil Kumar for the achievement.
