Honourary doctorate in sports awarded
The Indian Virtual University for Peace and Education (IVUPE) has awarded honourary doctorate degree in sports and games to Mohan Sundaram. He was awarded for specialisation in cricket coaching and development.Â
Vijayawada: The Indian Virtual University for Peace and Education (IVUPE) has awarded honourary doctorate degree in sports and games to Mohan Sundaram. He was awarded for specialisation in cricket coaching and development.
The doctorate was awarded by IVUPE Registrar, Evaluation Board Syed Ahmed at Pune, Maharashtra on March 17. Mohan Sundaram completed his NIS in cricket in 2004 at Trivandrum and International Cricket Council (ICC) level -1 in 2011 at Dubai. He has a coaching academy titled Sundar Cricket Foundation at Ooty and was planning to start a New Residential Sports Academy at Visakhapatnam.
He thanked Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh secretary Ch Arun Kumar, Krishna District Cricket Association secretary A Yella Rao, BCCI selector MSK Prasad for their support.
