Slow pace of road works irks ADC chairperson
Amaravati Development Corporation chairman D Lakshmi Pardhasaradhi Bhaskar expressed ire on the officials for not engaging sufficient workers for executing road works in Amaravati on Wednesday.
Guntur: Amaravati Development Corporation chairman D Lakshmi Pardhasaradhi Bhaskar expressed ire on the officials for not engaging sufficient workers for executing road works in Amaravati on Wednesday.
She inspected progress of road works at Amaravati and questioned why they were engaging less workers. The infrastructure company representatives replied that some workers went to their native states.
Lakshmi warned that she would take up the issue with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. She directed officials to speed up the road works and engage more workers to complete the works within the stipulated time. She said she would frequently conduct inspections.
She ordered the engineering officials to submit a report on the progress of the works. She also instructed the officials to solve land acquisition problem in Inavolu, Modugullankapalem and Velagapudi immediately.She inspected the place where Naidu would perform Bhoomi puja to the NTR statue soon.
