Summer training camp concludes
The 40 days summer training camp organised by the Entrepreneur Development Cell (EDC) of Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala (SMK) on the college premises concluded here on Thursday.
Vijayawada: The 40 days summer training camp organised by the Entrepreneur Development Cell (EDC) of Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala (SMK) on the college premises concluded here on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, SMK principal Dr T Vijayalakshmi said more than 100 women, students and unemployed youth participated in tailoring, beautician course, two-wheeler driving, Mehndi designs and sari rolling.She informed that the participants displayed their skills on the final day of the summer training camp.
Vijayalakshmi said that the participants who underwent training should mould their skills in self-employment.She informed that they would organise various training programmes every summer to create self-employment to women.EDC convener Dr K Sudha Rani, Ch Lavanya and others were present.
