Yuvotsavaalu, a youth festival organised by Youth Empowering Service – Jesuits (YES- J) concluded here on Sunday.  About 500 youth from the two Telugu-speaking states participated in the event.

Vijayawada: Yuvotsavaalu, a youth festival organised by Youth Empowering Service – Jesuits (YES- J) concluded here on Sunday. About 500 youth from the two Telugu-speaking states participated in the event.

The festival was inaugurated by Fr PS Amalraj on May 10. Addressing on the occasion, he said young people have power to change corruption in society.

Mimicry artist Sylvester enthralled the audience with his art and live story on the first day of Yuvotsavaalu. On the second day of the youth festival, Sreedhar (Director, CCE) enriched youth on topic ‘Pearls of Wisdom for Successful and Amaravati Happy Life’.

An awareness rally was conducted to bring awareness about saving environment and resources which started from Andhra Loyola College campus.On the concluding day, valedictory ceremony was organised by Rev Bishop T Joseph Rajarao as the chief guest.

Founder-Director of YES-J, Fr Bala Bollineni, encouraged the students to dare to dream big and live big. Participants were given participation certificates.
