Couple hurt critically in road accident

A couple sustained serious injuries when their two-wheeler was hit by a four-wheeler at S Timmapuram area near Annavaram in East Godavari district on Sunday.According to sources, the couple, D Satyanarayana and Bhavani, residents of Hamsavaram were on their way to Annavaram, the temple town when they met with accident.

While crossing the road reaching the highway, their bike was hit by another vehicle. The two were shifted to Tuni Government Hospital for medical aid. Later, they were shifted to Kakinada Government Hospital (KGGH) for better medical care. Tuni police are investigating.
