VMC demolishes unauthorised construction

As per the instruction of the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) Commissioner J Nivas, unauthorised constructions under the VMC limits were demolished here on Monday.
Vijayawada: As per the instruction of the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) Commissioner J Nivas, unauthorised constructions under the VMC limits were demolished here on Monday.
Unauthorised constructions were demolished at Division 55, KL Rao road and Ajit Singh Nagar. Without obtaining the prior approval or permission from the VMC, the construction work of the third floor of a building was started in the division and the VMC officials had demolished the unauthorised construction.
The VMC warned that henceforth any unauthorised construction or construction without permission would not be spared and the VMC would take action in demolishing the construction and would take stern action on the owners, according to VMC officials.
