Review meet on Ramzan month held

District Collector Kona Sasidhar directed the officials to see that Ramzan is celebrated peacefully one month from Wednesday.He conducted a meeting with the officials in Guntur city on Wednesday.

Speaking on this occasion, he directed to arrange police security at the mosques as a

precautionary measure. He instructed them to take steps to regulate the traffic at the time of offering Namaz.

He asked the officials to set up security at Eidgahs on Ramzan. He directed them to improve sanitation at all mosques and replace defunct streetlights. He directed to supply sufficient drinking water to mosques and keep Guntur city clean and beautify it.

The Collector directed the officials to take steps to implement total sanitation in all the villages on the occasion of Ramzan and instructed to supply Chandranna Tofa to eligible Muslims and see that all the shops are kept open till 11 pm.

Zilla Parishad Chairperson Janimun, Joint Collector Imtiaz Ahmed, State Minority Finance Corporation chairman Md Hidayat were among those participated in the meeting.
